Blood Drawn:

Blood is drawn in specialised vials and the amount of blood drawn depends on the kit used. At Zoe Aesthetic we use specialised GFC kits only for which 16ml of blood is required per session.

Blood Centrifuged and Processed:

Blood is centrifuged and processed and divided into three layers based on specific gravity: the bottom layer contains RBCs and Leukocytes, the middle layer is Platelet Rich Plasma layer and the top layer is platelet poor plasma.

Blood Injected:

Dermatologist or plastic surgeon injects the blood plasma component that contains high concentration of platelets or high concentration of GFC into the face or scalp using a syringe or microneedling device like Dermapen or Dermaroller.
